Looking for a little “comfort food” that won’t make you feel uncomfortable? Try this delicious Chili Mac Casserole. Each serving is packed with 17 grams of protein and only 308 calories which will leave you feeling full, not guilty.

chili macIngredients:

  • 1 cup whole grain rotini pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 16 oz can chili beans
  • 14.5 oz can tomatoes, diced
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 4 oz can diced green chilies
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup reduced-fat, shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • *½ cup sweet peppers, chopped (optional)
