Turkey Burgers with Zucchini

Looking for a way to change up your typical burger for your next grill out? Try this week’s Skinny Dawg recipe for Turkey Burgers with Zucchini. Adding zucchini to the patties makes them extremely juicy and helps to cut down the calories. Serve them as a typical burger with a bun or eat them plain- either way they’re so flavorful!


5 oz grated zucchini

Beef Fried Rice

This week’s Skinny Dawg recipe for Beef Fried Rice is a take on a classic- fried rice. It’s also a meal that will leave your friends and family in disbelief that it’s low in calories. This meal is quick to get on the table, and as an added bonus, packs a punch of protein to keep you feeling satisfied longer.



1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
2 cups water
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 egg, beaten
1lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef

Salisbury Steak and Mushroom Gravy

This lightened up version of such a classic dish is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters in your household. Pair the Salisbury steak and mushroom gravy with skinny garlic mashed potatoes or rice for the prefect dinnertime meal.


1 1/2 tsp oil
3/4 cup onions, minced
1 lbs 93% lean ground beef
1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
